Ricotta Tart

Buongiorno,

Ricotta Tart is a delicious and easy recipe, perfect for your breakfast or for a break in the afternoon with a cup of tea.

The ingredients you need are few and simple.

Follow me to my kitchen and let's prepare the Tart and offer it as a dessert to our guests!

Ingredients

  • 1 egg

  • 330gr / 2+3/4 cups Flour (I use half all purpose flour and half almond flour)

  • 120gr / 1/2 cup Sugar

  • 130gr / 1/2 cup Butter

  • 1 spoon Baking Powder

  • 1 pinch of Salt

  • Vanilla Flavor

  • 1 Lemon Zest


  • 500 gr / 2 cups Ricotta Cheese

  • 120gr/ 1/2 cup Sugar

  • Chocolate Chips






Steps

  1. Place Flour, Sugar, Baking Powder, Salt, Butter  in a bowl and start mixing

  2. Add Egg, Lemon Zest and Vanilla Flavor, continuing mixing

  3. Place the dough in the refrigerator (covered with plastic paper), for 1 hour

  4. Prepare the cream, placing Ricotta Cheese and Sugar in a bowl and mix

  5. Add Chocolate Chips

  6. Place the dough in a buttered and floured cake pan, add the cream on top and decorate as you prefer

  7. Bake at 350F for 40 minutes
