Buongiorno,
Fruit Tarts are oner of the most common dessert finger food in Italy.
They are so good and so colored that are perfect for your parties or you tea parties.
You can fill them how you prefer, in this case I decided for an orange cream.
You can decorate with the season fruits and it will be always a success!

Ingredients
For the Dough
250gr / 2 cups Flour
150gr / 1 cup and 1/8 Almond Flour
2 Eggs
100gr / 1/2 cup Sugar
100gr / 1 stick Butter
4gr / 1 tsp Baking Powder
5gr / 1 tsp Almond Flavor
For the cream
400 ml Milk
100 ml Orange Juice
1 orange zest
140 gr / 3/4 cups Sugar
50 gr / 1/3 cups Flour
3 eggs
Steps
Place in a bowl the Flour and the Butter and start mixing
Add the Almond Flour, the Sugar, the Baking Powdered, the Eggs and the Almond Flavor, continuing mixing
Make a ball and place it in the refrigerator, covered with plastic paper, for 1 hour
Meantime prepare your Orange cream: place in a pan the milk and warm it up
In a bowl place the eggs and the sugar start mixing
Add the Flour, the Orange Juice, the Orange Zest, the Eggs and mix.
Add the warm milk and after place in the pan and warm it up.
Place the cream in cold bowl to cold it down, mixing.
Roll out the dough and prepare your tarts using a cooking cutter
Place them in a muffin pan and bake, 350F for 20 minutes
Now you can fill your tarts with you Orange Cream and decorate with fruit.
