Focaccia

Updated: May 9

Buongiorno!

today Focaccia, warm, delicious, soft Focaccia!

Focaccia arrives from Italy, probably from the ancient Rome.

It is similar to Pizza but there are some differences: Pizza has an Hydration around 50% - 60% and the Focaccia has a very high hydration, for example in my recipe the hydration is around 85% - 90%.

Pizza is with Sauce and Focaccia is white.

You can eat Focaccia as you prefer. I like with Prosciutto or Mortadella, or plain.

Here the ingredients and the steps. You can find the video recipe in my Instagram page or in my YouTube channel.

  • 40 ml Extra Virgin Olive Oil (20ml for the dough and 20ml to put on top)

  • 2 gr / 0.5 Tsp Yeast

  • Rosemary

Buon Appetito
